Stainless steel sofa legs

This type of metal was developed in the 1950s and is extremely resistant to corrosion. They used stainless steel which is a type of metal with a high purity alloy of iron and chromium. The distinguishing feature on the surface is that it is shiny, even corrosion resistant. Even the natural oils from your hands will not cause rusting on these legs. The stainless steal used for these legs is an alloy, in which one part of iron(the main ingredient) has been replaced by chromium(of nickel content) and another part by molybdenum (of cobalt content), making it a very hard material; one that can withstand many corrosive chemicals without rusting or even corroding.(Grade 430).

This type of metal can be used in any color like silver, gold, etc. The material is made up of Ti-6Al-4V chrome molybdenum steel, which has a bright black color. This type of metal is not rusting and as compared to stainless steel has lesser resistance to corrosion. This type of metal is usually used for coffee tables or end tables; it can also be used for cabinet fronts or drawer fronts.(Grade 420).
